I believe that the Security Council is of extreme importance not only for me but for all human beings. This commission has the responsibility of preserving peace and security among nations. It has taught me the value that global peace holds. The committee will prove its importance in the model; we will make decisions about crucial, recent and real issues. It is a true challenge for the delegates, and I fully hope that you enjoy the experience.

I find this commission of extreme importance; this is because it opens one's mind and enables oneself to think and reflect about all the conflicts that are happening throughout the world. Being part of this commission gives us the opportunities; not only are we looking for a solution for the issues debated, but we are also investigating and informing ourselves about important issues in the world we inhabit. Additionally, we will be focusing in creating and expanding peace and justice; both are elements of immense importance in each and every person’s life and in the construction of a prosperous country.

Dear delegates,

Welcome to the Security Council commission of CBMUN16. As the chair of your committee we will be guiding you through the learning process of this experience.

This year we are looking forward to discussing topics strongly grounded upon the reality of the world we live in. Following this, we want to center in political analysis and discussions regarding human rights. Even though all debates are free of speech, they must relate evidently with the reality of the topic. Furthermore, we desire moved and strong debates in which delegates are prepared for action. We hope that you are all committed to the Security Council as much as we are.
